For the mural, the theme of the Cosmos was chosen, stylized to reflect the different periods of its conquest by Man and animals:
1) The my author's homage to Michelangelo Buonarroti's fresco "The Creation of Adam" in a retro-futuristic style with the famous red-orange suit of Yuri Gagarin;
To properly draw the folds of the space suit,
I asked my husband to pose for me in a snowboarding jumpsuit and helmet :D))
2) Surreal fantasies about the Apollo 13 mission to the Moon with the astronaut reading (photo reference of unknown author used for paintings)
3) Dogs "Belka and Strelka" conquering the space in the style of socialist realism. The painting is based on the work of an unknown author with my own changes to the background - replacing the gold disks with images of the planets.
